Deb Duncan, who has an outstanding reputation as the consummate fundraiser, has been appointed Senior Consultant at Global Philanthropic Canada, effective immediately. Deb, who is based in Calgary, AB, joins the Prairies team.

Deb is an inspired and motivated fundraiser who thrives in complex organizations, both as a leader and a collaborator. She is a relationship builder, with C-level executives, high net worth donors and staff teams.
Over the past 20 years, Deb has worked with organizations large and small to grow their fundraising programs and exceed expected results. She rapidly developed a fledgling community foundation into a respected and successful organization.
As Director of Major Gifts for the REACH! Campaign, Deb was a key fundraiser and manager of the department which raised $8 million annually. At STARS (Shock Trauma Air Rescue Society), Deb raised $15 million in major gifts and multi-year pledges, including securing $3 million for two new helicopter medical interiors within 24 months.
Deb holds a Bachelor of Physical Education from the University of Alberta.
