The Sustainability Protocol is maintained by the President’s Office and is responsible for implementing, coordinating, and advancing existing and emerging sustainability programs and initiatives.
- We reduce our travel footprint by utilizing alternative communication methods such as Phone and Skype.
- We acquire offsetting carbon footprint credits whenever possible.
- We provide all team members with EcoMug’s for sustainable use.
- We encourage non-use of Styrofoam packaging from suppliers and vendors.
- We provide recycling containers at all office facilities.
- We encourage the minimization of paper usage through use of e-material distribution (i.e. invoices, proposals, contracts, final reports, etc.).
- We have launched a regular sustainability awareness program for all consultants.
- We have included sustainability on our new team member orientation and onboarding program.
- We promote sustainability efforts by all team members.
Policy & Planning
- We regularly review our ongoing sustainability policy to incorporate changing social, economic and environmental factors.
- We embed sustainability principles in our revised Purchasing Policy.
- We only occupy and lease space in building that have a minimum SILVER LEED certification and energy sustainability policy.
